Future English Language Teachers’ School (FELT School)

FELT School project aims to contribute to the professional development of future English language teachers from the Republic of Moldova.  The project is implemented in partnership with the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, A. Russo Balti State University and the partner schools.

The 6th edition of the project will be organized in the period of 1 June 2013 - 1 June 2015 due to the financial support of the Foundation “Liechtenstein Development Service” and community contributions.

The activities organized in the framework of the 6th edition of the project include two summer schools and courses of professional development for the students, future English language teachers and beginner teachers, publishing educational flashcards and interactive games for the English language teaching.

The project is implemented by Association "Continuing Education Center".

Project outcome To contribute to the professional development of future English language teachers in Moldova.
Project outputs
  1. To develop an original pool of EL teaching aids that will successfully complement the beginner courses of English;
  2. To build a stronger English language teaching capacity at the partner institutions through training on using learner-centered approach in ELT;
  3. To provide resources to the students to develop their teaching portfolios and participate in professional development programs;
  4. To train students and beginning teachers to improve classroom management skills;
  5. To offer to children from vulnerable groups free educational inputs (summer school & counseling) in order to improve their English language and social skills.
